मुख्य देव एवं स्वरूप

Shri Ram Lalla (the 5-year-old child form of Shri Rama)

51-inch Krishna Shila murti consecrated in the garbhagriha — sculpted by Shri Arun Yogiraj (born 15 December 1983, Mysuru, Karnataka; Vishwakarma Brahmin community; 5-generation sculptor lineage — father Yogiraj Shilpi (state-award winner), grandfather B. Basavanna Shilpi (Mysuru palace artist, 1983 national award); holds an MBA, returned to sculpting in 2008). Stone sourced from Bujjegoudanapura village, HD Kote taluk, Mysuru district — approx. 2.5 billion years old. Reason Krishna Shila was chosen: 'does not chemically react to milk, water and other liquids — ideal for daily abhishekam'. The earlier 1949 'Ram Lalla Virajman' murti continues as the utsav (festival) murti.
